Italiano's Atascocita restaurant recently opened on FM 1960 near the Lake Houston Bridge, serving the same delicious Italian food as the Humble TX location. That means hungry fans from Crosby, Dayton, Huffman and Atascocita no longer need to drive the additional miles to Humble when craving the authentic Italian food and homemade garlic knots.
Saving a few extra miles may not seem like a big deal, unless you're familiar with the area. Atascocita is one of the fastest growing residential communities in America, and has been named the fastest growing city in Texas. According to Bloomberg BusinessWeek, the number of households has increased by 108 percent in the last decade.
This increase in population, plus a flood of retail development, created traffic on FM 1960 between Humble and Huffman, which is just east of Atascocita. Italiano's new restaurant location makes it possible for residents east of Humble to avoid that traffic and enjoy a good Italian meal closer to home.
